Field Trips
Seriously people. This trip costs $300. That's $300 for plane fare, food, accommodations, transportation. What's not to love? You have to do 20-30 hours of community service, but I had most of them done before school started by working the 'Welcome Center' on campus. You can also come up with your own community service projects. The rest of my hours were spent bringing donations to the Alzheimer's Day Service.
The trip is great. We went to both Denmark and Sweden. It was fascinating to see how their healthcare system worked. And we had a lot of free time to explore and shop and eat and do touristy things. It really is fun. It's easier to do it in third semester, but it's not out of the question for fourth semester. We all passed the test we had the day after we got back.
I just can't say enough good things about this trip.
